Projects can apply for the Island Screen Incentive at any time, but finance for the project must be secure, and applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to pre-production commencing. | |

| Additional Information | 1. Projects must be a live action screen production; 2. Projects must be a feature film (60-minute minimum) or a series with at least 30-minute episodes; 3. Projects must expend at least AUD$1.5 million as Tasmanian spend; 4. Projects must be substantially based in Tasmania (i.e. minimum 10 days’ filming); and 5. Projects must have marketplace attachment to secure public release 6. The applicant and production must display a demonstrated commitment to training Tasmanian screen practitioners, such as by providing placements for entry-level crews, or by promoting Tasmanian crew to a higher level than they have otherwise worked. This contribution is at the production’s expense, but will be negotiated by Screen Tasmania 7. Screen Tasmania must be satisfied that the budget and finance plan is – or will be – secure. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. |
