National Film and Television School
The National Film & Television School (NFTS) is an independent postgraduate institution that provides practical, specialist behind-the-camera training to over 700 students a year.
Since it began in 1971, The National Film and Television School has continued to develop some of Britain’s most significant and well-known creative visionaries, from directors, producers, screenwriters, model makers, visual effects specialists and composers to behind the camera artists and technicians.
As one of the leading film schools in the world, the NFTS operates like a major studio, with state-of-the-art production facilities that are essential for creating outstanding content for film, TV, games, animation, design, and more.
The NFTS is committed to supporting diversity within the film, television and games industries – nearly half of their MA students are female and a third are ethnically diverse, with a range of scholarships and bursaries available to support new and emerging talent.
