SAG-AFTRA Basic and Television AgreementsWagesExcept as noted below, there is a 3% minimum wage increase effective July 1, 2021. Exceptions:
High Budget SVOD ProgramsEliminate grandfathering for any new season of a High Budget SVOD series for which principal photography of the first episode of the season commences on or after July 1, 2021. All episodes of that season and any subsequent seasons of the series shall be subject to the terms and conditions (including residuals) applicable during the contract year in which the episode is produced. Residuals for Use on the Original Domestic SVOD Platform and Foreign SVOD Platform(s)Increase the applicable ceiling set forth in Paragraph E.5.(a)(ii) of the Sideletter regarding Programs Made for New Media by seven and one-half percent (7.5%) effective July 1, 2021. DGA Basic and FLTTA AgreementsWage and Pension Plan DiversionThe Guild will be exercising its authority to divert one-half percent (0.5%) from certain salary increases provided for in the second year of the 2020 Basic Agreement to the Pension Plan effective July 1, 2021. High Budget Derivative and Original Dramatic New Media Productions Made for Initial Exhibition on a Subscription Consumer Pay PlatformThere shall be no grandfathering with respect to any new season of a High Budget SVOD series covered under subparagraph 4.a.(3) for which the principal photography of the first episode of the new season commences on or after July 1, 2021. All episodes of that season and any subsequent seasons of the series shall be subject to the terms and conditions (including residuals) applicable at the time the writer is employed to provide writing services and/or literary material is acquired from the writer. ARTICLE 67 - OPTIONS AND EXCLUSIVITY (TELEVISION)The $280,500 amount will increase to $325,000 with respect to any such agreement entered into on or after May 2, 2021. |
MPIPHP East Coast Hourly Cost of Benefits RateCertain Employees working under the Local 600 Amendment Agreement, Local 700 Amendment Agreement, Local 52 Majors Features and Television Contract, Local 161 Motion Picture Theatrical and TV Series Production Agreement, Local 817 Locations Department Agreement or the Communication Workers of America-Parking Production Assistants Agreement, or any other agreement that contains rates that are based upon the “hourly cost of benefits” will have an increase from $15.669 per hour to $16.690 per hour effective March 21, 2021. Note that this rate does not apply to an Employer, or its related entities, that has made Supplemental Markets payments in an aggregate amount of not less than $15,000,000 over a consecutive three-year period. |
Local 161 Majors Theatrical, TV and Supplemental Digital AgreementsWagesTheatrical and TV Agreement - 3% minimum wage increase effective February 28, 2021. Supplemental Digital Agreement - Minimum wage rates for the period October 3, 2021 to March 2, 2022 shall be increased by the same amount and at the same time as the corresponding wage rates for "Script Supervisors" in the IATSE Videotape Agreement are increased, and shall remain in effect for the same time period as the correspondingly increased rates for Script Supervisors under the Videotape Agreement. Benefit ContributionsTheatrical and TV Agreement - New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Article 28(c) – Effective February 28, 2021, an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor.” Outside New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Articles 28(f) and 35 – Effective February 28, 2021, an increase of $5.00 per day. Supplemental Digital Agreement - New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Article 31(b) – Effective October 3, 2021, an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor.” Outside New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Article 31(d) – Effective October 3, 2021, an increase of $5.00 per day. |
Local 764 Majors Theatrical, TV and Supplemental Digital AgreementsWagesTheatrical and TV Agreement - 3% minimum wage increase effective February 28, 2021. Supplemental Digital Agreement - Minimum wage rates for the period October 3, 2021 to March 2, 2022 shall be increased by the same amount and at the same time as the corresponding wage rates for "Costumers" in the IATSE Videotape Agreement are increased, and shall remain in effect for the same time period as the correspondingly increased rates for Costumers under the Videotape Agreement. Benefit ContributionsTheatrical and TV Agreement - Article 15 – Effective February 28, 2021, an increase of $5.00 per day. Supplemental Digital Agreement - Article 31(d) – Effective October 3, 2021, an increase of $5.00 per day. |
Local 798 Majors Theatrical, TV and Supplemental Digital AgreementsWagesTheatrical and TV Agreement - 3% minimum wage increase effective February 28, 2021. Supplemental Digital Agreement - Minimum wage rates for the period October 3, 2021 to March 2, 2022 shall be increased by the same amount and at the same time as the corresponding wage rates for "Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists" in the IATSE Videotape Agreement are increased, and shall remain in effect for the same time period as the correspondingly increased rates for Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists under the Videotape Agreement. Benefit ContributionsTheatrical and TV Agreement - Effective February 28, 2021, an increase of $3.00 per day. Supplemental Digital Agreement - Effective October 3, 2021, an increase of $3.00 per day. |
