MPIPHP East Coast Hourly Cost of Benefits RateEast Coast Agreement with Local 600, Local 700, Local 52, Local 161, Local 817 (Location Managers/Scouts), the Communication Workers of America, and any other Agreement that contains rates that are based upon the hourly cost of benefits per Participant. Per hour composite will increase from $14.788 per hour to $15.669 per hour effective March 22, 2020. |
SAG-AFTRA National Code of Fair Practice (“Network Code”)Wages and FeesThere are various wage-rate and fee changes occurring on July 1, 2020 that range from 1.5% to 3% (most are 3%), depending on type of product. The Network Code rate sheet can be found by clicking here. |
IATSE Basic AgreementWages3% minimum wage increase effective August 2, 2020. Health ContributionsEffective August 2, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor,” and an increase of $0.75 per hour for a Producer who does not qualify as a “$15 Million Contributor.” CSATF Contribution RateEffective August 2, 2020, the following rates will apply, except that the contribution rate for the Script Coordinators and Writers’ Room Assistants employed under the Local #871 Amendment Agreement shall remain at $0.0708 for the term of the Agreement. Standard – $0.60 Film Labs – $0.017 Production Office Coordinators, Assistant Production Office Coordinators and Art Department Coordinators (Local #871) – $0.092. |

Weekly Living AllowanceNearby hires shall be paid a weekly living allowance of no less than $532.00 per week effective August 2, 2020, or $76 per day prorated per day effective August 2, 2020. |

Communication Workers of America, Parking Production Assistants AgreementHealth ContributionsEffective March 1, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a signatory Employer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor.” The increase will apply to contributions made on behalf of individuals who are employed under the Agreement to work as a Lead Parking Production Assistant or Parking Production Assistant in New York City and who have worked at least 180 days as a Lead Parking Production Assistant and/or Parking Production Assistant for a signatory Employer since February 12, 2018. |
United Scenic Artists, Local USA-829 Majors AgreementWages3% minimum rate increase effective October 4, 2020. However, there are various exceptions as shown here on Local 829’s rate sheet. Benefit ContributionsEffective October 4, 2020, the benefit contribution rate will increase by $5.00 per day, except that benefit contributions for Art Department Coordinators on theatrical pictures will increase by $7.00 per day. Productions Made for New MediaThe threshold for theatrical wage, fringe rates, and working conditions applicable to live action High Budget SVOD Programs 96-minutes or more in length (other than a pilot, episode of a series, or part of a mini-series) will increase to $31.83 million or more effective October 4, 2020. |
United Scenic Artists, Local USA-829 Costume Department Coordinators AgreementBenefit ContributionsAdditional $7.00 per day increase on theatrical pictures effective October 4, 2020. Additional $5.00 per day increase on television pictures effective October 4, 2020. |
Basic Crafts (Local 399 Drivers, Local 40 IBEW, Local 755 Plasterers, Local 724 Laborers, & Local 78 Plumbers)Wages2.5% minimum wage increase effective August 2, 2020. IAP ContributionsEffective August 2, 2020, IAP percentage contributions will increase to 8% except for Transportation Coordinators, Stunt Drivers, Ramrods, and Trainers (occ codes 3500, 3525, 3550 and 3571) for which IAP will increase to $2.91 per hour. Health ContributionsEffective August 2, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor,” but an increase of $0.75 per hour for a Producer who does not qualify as a “$15 Million Contributor.” CSATF Contribution RateThe general contribution rate will increase by an additional $0.07 per hour effective August 2, 2020 for a total of $0.60 per hour. The contributions made on behalf of laboratory employees will increase to $0.0175 per hour effective August 2, 2020. |
Local 399 Location ManagersWages2.5% minimum wage increase effective August 2, 2020. IAP ContributionsEffective August 2, 2020, IAP percentage contributions will increase to 8%. Health ContributionsEffective August 2, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor,” but an increase of $0.75 per hour for a Producer who does not qualify as a “$15 Million Contributor.” Car AllowanceThe car allowance amount will increase to $91.00 effective August 2, 2020. CSATF Contribution RateContributions increase to $0.225 per hour for each hour worked by or guaranteed each employee effective August 2, 2020. |
Local 399/817 Casting DirectorsWagesEffective October 4, 2020, the rate for Associate Casting Directors employed on television programs will increase to $19.00 per hour. Health ContributionsEffective October 4, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor,” but an increase of $0.75 per hour for a Producer who does not qualify as a “$15 Million Contributor.” CSATF Contribution RateIncrease to $0.092 per hour effective October 4, 2020. |
Local 52 Majors Theatrical & TV AgreementWages3% minimum wage increase effective May 17, 2020. Benefit ContributionsPart A – Effective August 2, 2020, there will be an increase of $0.10 per hour for a Producer who qualifies as a “$15 Million Contributor.” Part B – Effective August 2, 2020, there will be an increase of $5.00 per day. |

For series productions, the foregoing shall apply only to seasons that commence principal photography on or after January 1, 2020. |
