David Carter

David is Executive Vice President of Entertainment Partners. He leads the Tax Incentives administration & financing group in Canada, which previously operated as Canada Film Capital (CFC). EP is the leading film and television tax incentive financing and administration company servicing the Canadian industry from coast to coast.

Since the company’s inception, David has been involved in over 1,500 productions throughout Canada and has helped producers access over $ 4 Billion of tax incentive funding. Highly active in many aspects of the Canadian industry, David sits on the Toronto Film & TV Board, the Film Ontario Board and Ontario’s Film & TV Industry Advisory Panel.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Waterloo, before joining Dunwoody Chartered Accountants in Toronto. In Canada, David is licensed as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). In the US, he’s licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).

Sante Cardinale

Sante is Executive Vice President of Entertainment Partners Canada and brings a diverse background to his position.

As part of the Canada Revenue Agency, he worked in personal and corporate audit as a senior tax auditor for six years. In 1998, Sante joined a Chartered Accounting firm working in personal and corporate tax planning areas as well as administering various government incentive programs, such as the SR&ED and film tax credit programs. It was during that time that he developed an interest in the entertainment industry.

Sante’s objective is to always provide excellent client service and payroll & tax incentive solutions to the Canadian film & TV industry. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Administrative Studies with a specialty in Accounting from York University.
