Jason Brooks joined Entertainment Partners’ Executive Team in 2024. He is an accomplished professional with a unique mix of finance, business development, and private equity roles with marquee entertainment media and technology firms, and a track record of successfully navigating complex financial challenges and driving sustainable growth.
Jason came to EP from The MBS Group where he served as Global EVP and CFO to the world’s largest studio advisory and production services company which services nearly 500 sound stages in North America and Europe and supports more than 900 productions each year. At MBS, Jason was instrumental in supporting growth initiatives including the expansion of new international business ventures, the acquisition of key equipment companies, fiscal oversight of significant capital investment and positioning the Company for successful recapitalization events.
Prior to joining MBS, Mr. Brooks spent eight years with Comcast-NBCUniversal where he was responsible for the strategic oversight of the Studio Operations Group and concluding $2B in company-wide real estate initiatives. Jason originally joined NBCUniversal as the FP&A lead for a $1.3B production and technology segment while under General Electric’s ownership.
Jason brings a wealth of additional entertainment industry experience having held a variety of finance, strategy and business development roles with The Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros. International Television and Gemstar TV-Guide International.
Jason began his career as a CPA for Big Four firm KPMG and earned an MBA from the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
