Entertainment Partners has today announced the appointment of Ben Kennedy as Director of Operations for its Australia and New Zealand business strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it accelerates operational transformation, technology enablement, and long-term growth across the screen production ecosystem.

Kennedy joins Entertainment Partners’ AUNZ team with more than two decades of operational, finance and transformation leadership experience spanning digital media, broadcast, content production, healthcare, and complex multi-site organisations.

Most recently, he served as CEO and CFO of Australian healthcare group Sana Health, where he led operational integration, governance, systems transformation, and growth strategy across a private equity-backed business. Prior to that, Kennedy spent a decade at Paramount-owned CBS Interactive, leading APAC business operations across brands including CNET, Gamespot and ZDNet, overseeing regional planning, operational frameworks, commercial performance, and organisational integration initiatives.

In this new role, Kennedy will oversee operational strategy, service delivery, process optimisation and capability uplift across the Entertainment Partners’ Australia and New Zealand business.

Entertainment Partners’ Managing Director Australia & New Zealand, Liana Dubois, said the appointment reflects the company’s commitment to modernising production infrastructure and scaling operational excellence across the region.

Ben brings a rare combination of operational precision, financial discipline and deep understanding of the content and production ecosystem,” said Dubois.

He has led businesses through significant transformation, complex integrations, and periods of rapid growth, all while building strong cultures and disciplined operational frameworks. As our industry continues to evolve, Ben’s experience will be instrumental in helping us simplify complexity, strengthen service delivery, and accelerate the next phase of our technology and operational roadmap.”

Dubois said Kennedy’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the local production sector as the industry balances global opportunity, changing production models, technology transformation and increasing operational sophistication.

“At Entertainment Partners, we believe creativity and commerce power storytelling. That requires world-class operational capability sitting alongside trusted relationships and exceptional customer experience. Ben’s appointment is another key step in building the business and infrastructure required for the future of production in Australia and New Zealand.”

Kennedy said he was excited to join Entertainment Partners at a time of significant industry change and opportunity.

“EP occupies a unique position – trusted technology, deep industry relationships, and a platform that touches productions at every stage. The AUNZ screen sector is growing in scale and complexity, and I am looking forward to working with the team to grow our position in the industry.”

The appointment follows a series of strategic investments and leadership appointments across Entertainment Partners’ Australia and New Zealand business as the company continues to expand its role supporting end-to-end production management and production finance management with integrated technology solutions, strategic advisory services, and enablement across the region.
