Entertainment Partners Launches COVID-19 Reopening Tracker

Digital solution to help productions comply with pandemic regulations
February 17, 2021

To support productions as they rebound from the impact of COVID-19, Entertainment Partners has launched a tool to provide accurate and timely information regarding COVID-related travel restrictions, stay-at-home orders, and reopening protocols for each state and key filming jurisdictions such as Los Angeles, New Orleans, Atlanta, and New York City. The COVID-19 Reopening Tracker is available now on theProductionCommunity.com.

Designed to help productions get back to work safely while staying compliant with local, state, federal, and industry-specific guidelines, the Reopening Tracker will save productions hours of research time by consolidating key information impacting production locations across the US. It offers users the unique opportunity to see up-to-date federal, state, and city-level COVID-19-related ordinances and protocols, alongside travel restrictions and entertainment industry union guidelines, reports, and agreements as they prepare their productions.

“To help producers navigate the complex and changing state-by-state reopening guidelines, Entertainment Partners has developed a multi-jurisdictional tracker that highlights the key considerations for restarting or managing film and television production,” said Joe Scudiero, Entertainment Partners’ SVP and Chief Labor Counsel.

“The tracker will make it easier for all types of productions to determine which protocols, guidelines, and travel restrictions they need to follow in order to resume production. EP is pleased to continue its thought-leadership to assist our clients and the industry with resuming film and television production.”

The Reopening Tracker will be updated every 14 days, ensuring users access the most current information and can go forward with confidence as productions ramp up.
