Join us for episode #5 of our film financing series, hosted by EP’s John Hadity, EVP Incentives, and his special guests, as they discuss how shopping your project around the world to receive funding commitments for distribution rights can be a substantial part of your production financing plan.

Together these industry experts will explore working with agents, how to estimate the value of your project on a global scale and leverage this to raise financing, how to approach selling distribution rights and the pros and cons to selling upfront or to multiple distributors, and how senior debt (or gap financing) can factor in completing your financial plan. (Runtime: 1 hr 5 min.)

Speakers:

  • Daisy Stall, EVP and Head of Entertainment Finance, California Bank & Trust
  • David Oliver, Director, Entertainment Group, CIT Bank
  • Tom Ara, Partner & Co-Lead, Sports, Media & Entertainment Finance & Transactions Group, DLA Piper LLP
