BURBANK, CA – Entertainment Partners (EP), the entertainment industry’s leading provider of payroll and production management solutions, has been awarded with Burbank’s Top Award for Citizenship, as has Burbank’s Centennial Mayor, Jess Talamantes. The Top Award for Citizenship is given annually by the Burbank Temporary Aid Center (BTAC) to recognize an organization’s commitment to the Burbank community through public service and volunteerism. EP has supported BTAC since 2004 by running annual food drives around the holidays and in other times of need.

President and CEO Mark Goldstein accepted the plaque at the awards dinner, thanking BTAC, employee owners and clients for their support. In his speech, Mark shared, “Last year, we donated 8,000 items, feeding over 135 families, and since 2004 when we got involved with BTAC, I am excited and proud to tell you we have donated over 70,000 items of food feeding approximately 1,400 households.”

“EP is a wonderful member of the Burbank Community,” said BTAC CEO Barbara Howell. “I know BTAC is only one of the many charitable organizations they support and we are grateful they have chosen to support our work serving the low income and homeless in Burbank. As a company, they and their employees epitomize the true meaning of ‘partnership.’ They help with a joy and enthusiasm that often buoys me up during challenging times and helps keep me going!” She continued, “Whether through collecting food, sponsoring an event, participating in a benefit softball tournament or adopting families during the holiday season, their support has been critical to our ability to meet the growing needs for food, utility assistance, sack lunches for the homeless and many other services provided by BTAC.”

Founded in 1974, BTAC is dedicated to providing the poor, working poor, and homeless of the local community with basic services they need to live with dignity, and to serve citizens in times of emergency and disaster. Held at The Castaway, the annual dinner also serves as a fundraising event for BTAC, with a silent auction and prize raffle. The funds raised at the dinner will help provide food, utility assistance, and other services to the Burbank community.

“We feel so honored to be recognized by BTAC,” adds Mark. “They provide exceptional support to the community and offer a great opportunity to demonstrate how much EP cares.”
