Los Angeles, CA, May 13, 2016 – Entertainment Partners (EP), the leading end-to-end provider of payroll and production management services for all aspects of the entertainment industry for nearly 40 years, was honored with the Strategic Acquisition Award at the 6th Annual Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Awards Ceremony. The event, held at the Walt Disney Concert Hall on Thursday, May 12th, recognized local Los Angeles companies that have made tactical business decisions resulting in driving growth.

In August, 2015, EP acquired Ease Entertainment Services (“Ease”), a leader in technology solutions for the industry since its formation in 2008. The acquisition has resulted in digitizing many aspects of the back office, production process in the entertainment industry—making it simpler and more streamlined.

“EP has provided a tremendous opportunity for our technological innovations and solutions to reach a greatly expanded client base,” commented Mike Rose, former Ease CEO and EP’s new Chief Strategy Officer. “As a result of the acquisition, we are truly digitizing and modernizing the production industry. Additionally, EP is 100% employee-owned, which was a key driver for bringing us all together and says a lot about EP’s commitment to performance and success.”

The ACG also recognized winners in additional categories, including IPO of the Year (Houlihan Lokey), Social Impact Award (Prolacta Bioscience), Founders Award (Mendocino Farms) and the Mayor’s Award (LA Clippers).

“We are proud of this honor by the ACG, and to be named alongside these flourishing local businesses,” stated Mark Goldstein, President and CEO of EP, which together with its legendary Central Casting division, employs more than 1100 people nationwide after the Ease Acquisition. “We plan to continue to place tremendous emphasis on client service excellence and innovative technology.”
