John Hadity will moderate an indie film incentives panel, hosted by the British Film Commission. The panel will focus on indie films and the UK Film Tax Relief, spotlighting Oscar-winning film The Imitation Game, followed by a networking brunch.
Hear producers Nora Grossman and Ido Ostrowsky talk about why they chose the UK and how the production office was established, and learn about the Cultural Test, UK Film Tax Relief application and claim process. Also hear Moses Nyacha, Partner at UK entertainment accountancy firm Saffery Champness, talk through the financial aspects of the UK Film Tax Relief. British Film Commission CEO, Adrian Wootton, and EVP US Production, Kattie Kotok, will also be there to talk about the UK industry and assistance the Commission can offer.
