Our communities are a reflection of ourselves and our clients. So we created EP Outreach, in order to organize and participate in volunteer activities throughout the year. You can recognize us by the bright blue EP Outreach shirts. Whether it’s serving retirees from our industry, the poor and working poor of our communities or urban schools, or participating in charitable fundraising events, or filling the stands to cheer on international athletes, you’ll find us there.
Relay for Life
EP Outreach participated in Relay for Life, an event hosted by the American Cancer Society. Held in Los Angeles’ Griffith Park, volunteers enjoyed a day of fraternity and fun, while raising money for a charity that helps raise cancer awareness through education, research, and treatment.
Habitat for Humanity
EP Outreach volunteered in a Habitat for Humanity Build day in Inglewood, California. The well-known organization helps revitalize Los Angeles neighborhoods in order to create access to affordable housing. This build day was filled with sanding, painting, caulking, and working with Habitat’s builders.
Located in the Skid Row area of Downtown Los Angeles, The Midnight Mission serves homeless people a staggering million meals per year. EP Outreach was fortunate to assist the organization by prepping and serving meals, and cleaning. Employee owners were given a guided tour—where they learned about the hardships so many Angelenos endure.
EP Outreach volunteered and participated in fundraising efforts for The Special Olympics World Games. Additionally, over 120 employee owners, along with their families and friends, filled the stands to enthusiastically cheer on athletes from over 165 countries playing basketball, speed skating, track and field, and equestrian sports, to name only a few.
